In the project, we are researching  the connection between intercultural dialogue and environmental care as well as responsible cohabitation in the community as one of the forms of connecting and cooperating in overcoming the differences and separations.

Before the exchange, the partner organisations made  a documentary video presenting the problem in their environment. The research  is continuing within the DIC community (students’ home, 600 pupils, 100 students), which has worked on this project for three yearsin cooperation with the broader area of the local community of the City of Ljubljana. Project is taking place in the form of workshops – video, dance and theatre as well as the bike repair and construction workshop – and in the form of discussions on the relevant topics and socialising. Before the end of the project we will organise a public discussion with guests and experts. The presentation of  the productions made before and during the project,  will serve as a basis and a starting point for discussion. The reflections, views and findings will be published in a special publication after the end of the exchange, which will be given to the participants together with a DVD of the productions. They will also be published on the Internet and accessible to other interested users. The realisations and concrete findings will be applicable and useful also in other environments.

Workshop was held for tend days, eight hours per day. Trough group and individual processes the participants learned the procedures of theatre script writing, theatre directing and basics of the physical theatre, improvisation and stage act. Emphasis was on the individual approach towards stimulating the creativity of each individual and on the other hand on the building of the group energy and dynamics, discussions and exchange of ideas.

The group of extremely creative individuals got very connected trought the work process, they built creative and friendly connections worth keeping and upgrading.

Workshop ended with sincere, sparking and fresh almost an hour long production / theatre play, that was very well accepted by the audience, so we firmly decided to repeat the performance in near future.

In the video workshop participated ten participants from Slovenia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Workshop lasted during entire exchange in forenoon and afternoon sessions.

Participants were presented with basics of the film making process - developing the idea, script writing, organizing the filming, directing, shooting with camera and video editing. Participants were encouraged to engage in all processes of film making and they found their roles according to their preferences. The ones who knew less or nothing about film making were learning trough the process from the ones with more experience. Everybody found his role in certain aspect of film production and did his/her part as a sound operator, organizer, video editor, etc ...

Basic themes of the films were orientated towards problems of ecology, prejudice and problems we see in our immediate environment.

Two of the participants, Natalija Kosmač and Andir Keskin managed to fully realize their own ideas into two films, Phobia and A da me vidi babo. Other participants were active in different roles during the production of the film Summer of love, that was made by all participants of the video workshop.
